SPDC's TROOP CONTINUES SLAUGHTERED IDPs IN SOUTHERN TENASSERIM DIVISION.
7 MORE INTERNALLY DISPLACED KAREN PEOPLE WERE SLAUGHTERED BY SPDC's TROOPs.

On 31st July, 1999 a troop of SPDC's troop numbered 43 men led by company commander Mo Kyaw and 2nd company commander Ka Htay from IB 101, 4th Company arrived to Ta Hpo Hkee (a village close to Kawei and Hpway Plaw where SPDC's troop has slaughtered IDPs, in the north of Tenithayi town, Eastern Mergui Township, Mergui district) and captured a group of 7 villagers and killed them on their way.

The victims are,

1. Saw Kwaw Hko (50 yr.)
2. Naw Dah (50 yr. wife of Saw Kwaw Hko)
3. Saw Dah Pway (22 yr. son of Saw Kwaw Hko)
4. Naw Te Mo (30 yrs. daughter of Saw Twe, five months pregnant)
5. Naw Hpo Pree (23 yr., single)
6. Naw Purt Say (16 yr., single)
7. Naw Thu (9 yr. girl)

Both the single women and 9 years old girls were gang raped before they were killed. A pregnant woman was shoot at her abdomen to died.

On 24th July, 1999 a troop of SPDC from IB 101 arrived to Ta Hpo Kee where the villagers are hiding and burnt down and destroyed the villagers properties as follow,

1. Entire Saw La Sein's house and it's belongings with 80 basket of paddy were burnt down, one cattle eaten. Estimate cost 500,000 kyat.
2. Entire Saw Purt Purt house, with 20 baskets of paddy and a cart were destroyed. Estimate cost 40,000 kyat.
3. Entire Saw Chit Sein house and belongings were destroyed. Estimate cost 105,000 kyat
4. Entire Saw Hpo Pwew house and belongings were destroyed. Estimate cost 30,000 kyat
5. Entire Saw Me Day house and belongings were destroyed. Estimate cost 200,000 kyat.
6. Entire Saw June house and belongings with 20 baskets of paddy, 45 kilograms of fish paste were destroyed.
7. Saw Sho's one cattle was eaten.
8. Saw Ya Pre's one cattle was eaten.
